Overview:
The project comprised extensive refurbishment and extension work to the existing hotel increasing the overall size from 6,000 m2 to 22,300 m2.
The remodeling works have greatly enhanced and expanded the functional elements of the hotel and include:
- Refurbishment of the existing public area including restaurants, bars, health spa, conference facilities
- Addition of a 7 storey, 100 bedroom wing over two basement levels
- Construction of a new ballroom over a new basement.
The removal of the lift from the main entrance lobby opened up the magnificent grand staircase which now forms one of the most striking features within the hotel.
