Overview:
This project consisted of a new extension to the existing Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport, built at the north-western corner of the terminal. This project also included the complete fit-out of the Terminal including high-specification retail areas.
This new building is built around a 2-level shopping area, including a mezzanine, bringing together cafés, restaurants, shops and rest areas. This shopping area is an extension of the existing Terminal 1 shops and has impressive views over the aircraft areas and runways.
This Project included:
- Provision of increased circulation space for passengers
- New take off bays
- An enlarged and reconfigured check-in area
- New retail space
This project was completed successfully on time and within budget within complex live airside and landside environments.
